	This house has been recently totally rebuilt, and now offers an unusual combination of old world charm, with very large volumes in some of the rooms, and modern comforts. In one hectare of well tended gardens, there is a second two bedroomed guest house tucked out of sight of the main house.To the south of the house is a range of stone and terra cotta roofed outbuildings and a stone paved courtyard, with a well.
The main house is built with the north side backed into a slope,so the front door opens onto what is from the south side, the 1st floor level. The entrance doorway in the round tower gives access to the main salon, which is about 90mē with a medieval type open fireplace, and lots of light from numerous windows and glazed bays.The tower contains a spiral staircase which leads down to a separate bedroom and washroom/wc. From the salon, a corridor leads to two other bedrooms, and stairs down to a bathroom and large character kitchen, with exposed beams, terra-cotta floor, top quality fittings and serving hatch to the dining room, which again has terra-cotta floor, a large original fireplace, beams and glazed door to the terrace on the south side. Beyond this room is a second living room, although it could easily be a fourth bedroom. All rooms are fitted with lovely old cast iron radiators and the central heating is a recently installed oil fired system. The guest house has a large living room with kitchen area, and oak fitted cupboards; there are two good sized double bedrooms, with a bathroom between the two. While not totally isolated, (there is a neighbouring property, though you can't tell from the house that it is there) there is a real sense of peace about this property, with no traffic noise whatsoever.
