	Duck cottage is a newly renovated cottage in the village of Vaubadon that boasts a small shop with 'depot de pain'.
Situated less than 15 minutes drive from Bayeaux with its 11th Century Cathedral, just five minutes from Balleroy with its magnificent 17th century Chateaux ( frequently the site of major hot air ballooning festivals ) and 25 minutes from the Normandy landing beaches the property is ideally located to explore this delightful, historic region. Leisure pursuits in this area include an excellent public swimming pool, sailing, fishing , bike hire, a bathing beach at Asnelles and golf. The forests of Cerisey and Balleroy are within a few minutes of the property and provide miles of foot and cycle paths.
The cottage itself is located behind the owners house. It has its own parking space and a small separate garden and terrace overlooking fields & countryside. The accommodation consists of a small well equipped kitchen with cooker, washer - dryer, microwave and fridge. This room leads into a comfortable living room with television and hi fi system. There are two double bedrooms, one twin and a shower room with WC.
