	Our beautiful old stone cottage is set in it's own little valley with babbling brook and pretty pond (ducks usually visit after lunch!). Main rooms face south with tiled floors and large shuttered windows. Double/twin bedrooms, lounge + sofabed (woodstove - wood available), 2 bathrooms (bath, shower). Electric radiators throughout. Kitchen includes gas cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridgefreezer, etc. Garden furniture. There's a bar and shop 5km whichever way you turn - south past the old chateau or north to Maisoncelles la Jourdan. Another 5km takes you to the ancient town of Vire You pass the outdoor pool.
Visit many memorable places within easy reach. You're in the heart of Calvados in Normandy - 45 to 90 minutes from the ferries at Cherbourg, Caen and St. Malo. Within easy reach are the wonderful beaches at Granville, the stunning Mont St Michel, the WW2 beaches of Normandy, the Bayeux Tapestry, plenty of wonderful countryside to explore, food trails, local markets. Or try the various outdoor activities from canoeing to rambling, bungee jumping to golf.
